CEO Dr. Viliami Toalei Manu and Mr. Sione Foliaki(Deputy Director) conducted training on Pineapple. The Agriculture Officer of Research and Extension were participated the training at the Farm Conference Room on the 11 of April 2017. The aim of this training to strengthen staff understanding on how to grow pineapple very well in the clay loam soils of Tonga as well as in the sandy loam soils on the coastal areas and some Islands. Other soil types can be used as long as they are not water logged and organic matter is added.
